First, we got involved with something called Literature Evangelism, which is a missionary work of the highest level. We were dealing with materials containing precious light on many topics such as health, education, child guidance, family, personal growth, character building, agriculture, country living, history, Bible prophecy, and much more.
While we were working to bless our fellow men we felt a great joy, and an earnest need of God which led us to pray more, and also the needed to study the Bible more seriously. So, we came across a Bible study called Storacles of Prophecy from Amazing Facts. It was great! Another thing that really helped us was Doug Batchelor’s personal testimony. He even wrote a book about his life experience called “The Richest Caveman”, an amazing story of how his family had a lot of money but did not have happiness. So he went on a journey to find the meaning of life. You can find his testimony on youtube.
Around the same time, someone gave us some CDs with audiobooks. These audiobooks were just what we needed to boost our spiritual life. The Bible became alive! Up to that point we hadn’t realized how amazing the Bible was. Indeed, the impact was so great that out of that originated a ministry that creates audiobooks for free into many languages; what a blessing!
So, this was the beginning of a new start. It doesn’t mean that everything was perfect after that, or that we never had a disappointment or failure. It just means that after that we changed the direction of our lives. Yes, we had trials, hardships, and we even went though critical moments where we thought about giving up. Nonetheless, we can definitely look back and trace God’s leading hand, and His beautiful providences along the way. After all, Jesus never said it was going to be easy, did He? He said “in this world you shall have tribulations.” But He also said “be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
We have dedicated our lives to bless others with what God has given us.
Our prayer is that God will bless you with His truth, causing you to be a blessing to others around you, so we can all be ready to meet our Lord Jesus in our generation. Amen.
